STEVEN UNIVERSE GEM OC REF REDUX: Dumotierite

Decided to revamp Dumo's ref in the same style as the rest- ;v;

Gem Name: Dumortierite
Gem: Dumortierite
Gemstone Location: On her chest
Birth Place: Homeworld
Faction: Homeworld
Age: A rather young gem, and small compare to the Quartz's she serves.
Gender: Goes by female Pronouns/Her/She

Personality: cold and blunt while communicating, patient, calculating, easily irked, tends to not be emphatically connected to others, and intelligent

Distinguishing Features: She has geometric patterns on her cheeks and on her shoulders that match the patterns on her boots and gloves.

Weapon: Crystal Mace

Gem Ability: Crystal Armor | She can form opaque crystals over her body as extra protection against attacks and fortify her weapons with the defensive power of the ability, making weapons she handles stronger.

Likes: weaponry, technological challenges, missions, combat, and experimenting with creation of new weapons.

Dislikes: being pressured, failing missions, delays, and not able to work in peace or without interruptions, having her beliefs and motives questioned and is terrified of Blue Diamond

Fusion Dance: The Robot or Robotics- It is a dance in which the dancer moves their limbs in a way that imitates the movements of a robot. Movements of the robot are normally started and finished with a dimestop (a very abrupt stop), and it's to give the impression of motors starting and stopping.

Brief Bio: A rather uncommon gem and often referred as the "Gems of Patience", Dumortierites come in array of colors in the shades of blue, pink, and purple and are usually created with lack of luster in their general personality or giving personality in their words. 
   In this particular blue one, Dumortierite makes up her lack of personality in her words by her durability in tasks which is combined with a high craftsmanship in her weapon craft. This makes her the ideal weapon specialist for the Gem armies. 
    She is usually paired up with a Quartz, being the subordinate to such powerful gems but her technician skills make her a rather important ally. She specializes as Weapon Technical Specialist, using her knowledge to create new weapons, and uses those skills to make each of the weapons she handles stronger. After all, she did make her own crystal mace herself. Dumortierite is not a gem to be trifled with, no matter which one you encounter.

Notes:

• She is in union with Homeworld and is a Weapon Technical Specialist.
  
• She is known for her patience and using her knowledge and skills on the field to create new weapons, and uses those skills to make each of the weapons she handles stronger.
• She usually works for a Quartz class gem and is paired with one most of the time. (In nature, Blue Dumortierite in found as inclusions in Quartz like this example here)
• She will obey any command given by the Quartz she is paired with. After all, she is a subornate to such gems. 
• Her gloves and boots help protect her hands and enhance her endurance and speed of her skills
• She speaks in slight monotone, not caring to show emotion except when she is annoyed or angered.
• Her weapon is a crystal mace.
  
• She has a communicator on her head in the form of headphones.
• She panics extensively when things go wrong in her favor and is terrified of being broken for a failure in any mission.
• If her belief are questioned, she would defend them. If her beliefs turn out to be wrong, then she emotionally breaks, unable to think clearly or pull herself together.  She would go slowly into madness, complicating the choices she has if her beliefs of Homeworld are doubted or proven to be delusions. 
• She is absolutely terrified of her Diamond who is Blue Diamond.
• Her facet squadron of four other Dumortierites were broken due to failure on their behalf. The executions were held in front of Dumortierite who was spared thanks to her success in her mission and it stayed with her and instilled the fear of her Diamond.  
• She is absolutely terrified of Veszelyite due to Ves being the executioner who broke her closest allies.
• She has come out of her shell a little around Polka Dot Agate and holds her dear but, she feels that the relationship itself confirms that she is indeed a traitor when she got stranded on Earth.
