• Being beaten by a Cane | a common use of discipline his master used if his butlers made even the pettiest of mistakes. This usually is him striking the servant with his walking cane hard enough to form bruises and even break certain things like their noses or with enough force, fracture or break their ribs. He will twitch at the sound of someone walking around using a walking cane and cower in fear.
• Claustrophobic |  Lois personally was shut in the dark mansion basement for several days when he was younger and still in training as a butler before his father retired from service. Haunts him to this day.

Quirks: 

• He stutters a lot- a speech impediment that was developed from the constant beatings he was given from little or petty mistakes
• Hates the smell of chemicals- he might flip out due to being blinded and had his hands dipped in an acidic compound as punishment.
• Winces at the sound of someone yelling or a loud noise.
• He will lose his stutter when he gets pissed off.
• He tends to suppress traumatic experiences a lot- creating the air that he's delusional. For example, he still believes his master is alive though in reality, he was murdered by Gentleman after he brought the butler back from the dead after murdering him for "failure" several months before. He doesn't remember killing him though it's more of his mind "forgot" because of how horrific the killing was. 
• Will attack if you intrude in the mansion he resides in, though it's been abandoned. He wanders the mansion that was owned by his original master, believing his "master" will return and to protect it like a butler should.

• Very loyal to whoever he put under service with. 
• He uses a form of echolocation by humming loudly for the sound to reflect off the surfaces to walk around.
• He will serve under anyone of authority but later on kills them when he grows tired of them or they anger him. Usually, he kill them in a fit of rage.
• He was brought back from the dead by Rose to serve the man for eternity as punishment for "failing" him and for Rose's complete disgust of him for being a product between two eloping servants. 
• Completely blind and has no actual feeling of touch due to his destroyed nerves in his skeletal hands.
• He does have the tendency of "erasing" memories/suppress memories- he will "forget" events such as him killing his master or when he has a mental breakdown triggered by a scent or a word. 
• Bandages cover his hands as he had injuries to them prior to them being burnt to the state they are now.
• He was brought back from dead by his original master who wanted him to serve him for eternity. In a fit of rage though, Gentleman manages to breaks free from his initial fear of his master and kills him by using the cane Lord Rose carried and cracked the older man's skull in his rage. He kept on hitting the master till Lord Rose stopped breathing and died.
• He was actually considered a "Bastard's child" since he was conceived by a maid from a different house by his father.
• He was considered useless up until he came to age and was trained as a butler to succeed his father when his father became too ill and old to work. This was a main  reason why he was targeted so much- he was an unexpected illegitimate child that split his fathers attention from raising him and doing his duties. His mother abandoned him at birth, since she lost her job when she was discovered pregnant. The only reason his master allowed the boy to live was that Lois and his father be bound to the home/family to serve for the rest of their lives. 
• Master Rose got the book of necromancy used to raised Lois from the dead from Lolita's master Andrew Michaelis as both were both Vlad Rose and Andrew Michaelis were business partners and friends.
