Hello again my fellow CP OC creators! I hope you are hungry for more pasta because this is a big serving of material for your creations!
Soul gems were originally developed by my friend DreamCoatGuy in the sense of what I am presenting to you. I happen to help develop the ideals of the gem while he helped form the overall design/concept.
So lets begin!
Soul gems are a solid gem that is commonly found in earthbound spirits, the resurrected, the undead, figments and in some cases golems and puppets of any kind. These gems are usually a solid form of the soul of the deceased and the stone itself is the gem of the birth month of that particular person. It is also created either by when the soul has unfinished business and has a strong enough will not to pass on to the afterlife, created through necromancy as an anchor to bound the soul to the body, or created using certain spells that can create soul gems to put into a doll version of a person or into their old body. These spells also are usually performed by the family of the deceased or friends of the deceased.
The soul gem type of each birth-month goes as follows:

General Information
- January- Garnet
- February- Amethyst
- March- Aquamarine or Bloodstone
- April- Diamond
- May- Emerald
- June- Pearl or Alexandrite
- July- Ruby
- August- Peridot
- September- Sapphire
- October- Opal or Tourmaline
- November- Topaz or Citrine
- December- Turquoise, Zircon or Tanzanite
Now, some months have two or more different gems depending on the calendar used for determining birthstone but the most common are Garnet, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Diamond, Emerald, Pearl, Ruby, Peridot, Sapphire, Opal, Topaz and Turquoise.
Soul Gems are usually located on a ghost, any reanimated soul, figment or resurrected soul where the heart is on a living person. It also pulsates similarly to a heart as well, sometimes faintly glowing the color of the stone though the skin or clothing of the physical form of the host. It also can be felt if one reaches into the "chest cavity" of the host and usually its a small gem hence the term "Soul Gem"
Also, in some cases, the gem can change color. For example, Adeline Abendroth was born on November 8th of 1885 so she would have a topaz soul gem if she died prematurely and had a gem formed but when she was resurrected as Ally, she was reborn on December 6th of 1895 so her soul gem that was created during her resurrection is turquoise instead of topaz.
Soul Gems can be damaged by physical weapons if the attacker is up against a spirit or any of the supernatural/paranormal listed above and knows where to hit. The more damaged a soul gem is, the dimmer in color and in glow it becomes and the host becomes more and more weaker with each hit and appearance changes near to what they looked like at moment of death. If the gem is shattered into pieces or broken completely, the soul will be forced to move on into the afterlife. If the host is a spirit then the physical form of the ghost dissipates and if the host is one of the undead/reanimated, figment or golem/puppet then the "body" becomes an empty shell. Also, if a weapon gets lodged into the gem, the weapon will make the spirit, figment or the undead gem beholder to remain solid and unable to use some of their mutual abilities such as inhuman strength and teleportation.
Now one spirit or person can steal another one's soul gem and use the abilities linked to the birthstone (which I will list on a future date and publish it) which causes the soul to gradually get weaker as more power is drained from the gem.
This can also cause the soul to disappear completely if its not returned to its original owners body or reformed as the spirit of the deceased.
Demons and Zombies though don't usually have any soul gems but in some cases like DreamCoatGuy's character Commander Tanker, it can happen though very rarely.
If the host is a spirit and is near the original body of themselves, the gem will began to glow brightly on and off in a fashion of a metal detector. It will also get warm the closer the spirit is to the body.
There are cases where a different soul gem can overtake a body of another deceased. For example, Jesus Freak (Owned by Zac) has his gem in Zac's other Poltergiest OC Elmer Toddson's original body.
The last note on this topic is that, Necromancers can control the dead through soul gems as well as fix them if they specialize in healing of the undead/paranormal.
Hope this helps!
And thats about it!

Creating a Slenderman Proxy OC
Creepypasta for Dummies: Creating A Slenderman Proxy OC
Bonjour, howdy, and konnichiwa to all! First of all, the idea for this Creepypasta for Dummies was given to me by the wonderful !Junabugcreepypastas (https://www.deviantart.com/junabugcreepypastas) so I just wanted to give her credit where credit is due. Also, some of the advice given here may appear in a slightly different format in my other articles, but I wanted to bring together all the relevant info on proxies into one handy-dandy guide.
Now then, I think it would be fair to state that the most common type of creepypasta OC is the proxy. What is it about proxies that fascinates us so much? Personally I think the key compone

Creating A Hybrid Creepypasta OC
Creepypasta for Dummies: Creating a Hybrid Creepypasta OC
Greeting and salutations, fellow Pastanians. Today we’ll be looking into creating an interesting type of creepypasta OC which you’ve probably run into before, even if you didn’t know it: the “hybrid” model of OC. “What is a hybrid?”, I’m sure you’re wondering. Well, a hybrid is essentially an OC which blends elements from several different types of character templates. In recognition of the fact that ~InvaderIka (https://www.deviantart.com/invaderika) gave me the inspiration for this guide and ideas for the content, we’ll use a hybrid character of hers in the
